The current health trends in this country show a decrease in health and wellness across a broad spectrum of health categories. We now have children under 12 years old with high cholesterol, type II diabetes and hypertension. Young adults are developing degenerative disease earlier than ever. This demands and calls for an urgent paradigm shift in our culture. We must become active in our lifestyle and involved in the process of managing dietary needs for ourselves and our families. It is our goal that families begin to understand the need for a shift to a healthy lifestyle so they and their children can enjoy a long healthy life. To bring about the change we are working to educate and motivate individuals, families and businesses on the consequences of the current health trends and the benefits of a shift to healthier lifestyle.
Living a life focused on WELLNESS does not mean you will never be sick or never develop illness or disease. What it means is that you are giving yourself the best possible opportunity to avoid illness and disease and in the event you do become sick your ability to overcome it is greatly increased and the duration of the illness should be reduced. In other words, if you do get a cold it should not as long or be as severe as it is for someone not living a life of wellness. The possibility of living a long healthy vibrant life is real, attainable and should be your goal!

Wellness, Weight Management and Lifestyle Position
Our approach factors in lifestyle choices including dietary and nutritional needs, lifestyle adjustments and an increase to adequate activity levels. Practically speaking, wellness and weight is influenced by all three of these factors and all three must be addressed for wellness and weight management to be effective.
Our goal is to provide you with tools through education, inspiration and behavior modification that empower you to enjoy a healthy lifestyle. For this to be successful, we must tailor our approach to take into account your lifestyle, your nutritional needs and the foods and activities you enjoy. It’s all about you making smart choices. Obviously life is going to change it must for you to accomplish your goals.
There is know quick fix solution. It is impossible to think that reading a book or listening to a CD for an hour is going to help you if you do not put it into practice. If that were the case everyone would be at a healthy weight and I would have never gone through my experience and you would not be reading this in hopes of finding an answer. There are many different methods for losing weight. There are thousands of different approaches being offered. Anyone can lose weight for a period of time; however do they keep it off. Most people do not. We want you to have permanent safe weight loss and a lifestyle of wellness. The problem is no one is teaching you how to adjust your life gradually so that over a period of time the concept of Life Balance and Wellness is your life. This not about depriving you of certain foods, I promise you will not be hungry. We are your mentor, coach, counselor and educator giving you the tools required for permanent safe weight loss.
